1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your Apple ID email (when you sign in with Apple), recitation session data (surah number, accuracy scores, session duration), and app usage data such as bookmarks, reading history, and Hifz progress.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Itqan service, sync your data across devices, process subscription payments via RevenueCat and Apple, and send you notifications about your Quran practice (with your consent).

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit. Authentication tokens are stored using your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app Settings screen. Upon deletion, all your personal data, session history, and progress data are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: RevenueCat (subscription management), PostHog (usage analytics, opt-out available in app settings), and Apple Sign In (authentication). Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
